Founded in year 2013, ASTrio Pte Ltd is an industry IT solutions provider specialized in design and development of supervisory control, real-time networked control and optimization, information integration systems in various industrial sectors.
Our founders are researchers from the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technologies (SIMTech). We have working experience in design and development of system software, networking applications, shop-floor control integration systems as well as large scale warehouse inventory control systems since 1990’s. We were heavily involved in the design and development of the complex warehouse and logistics management systems for the Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) air cargo terminal and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Since 2002, we have been the key personnel in providing the system technical support to these mission critical systems.

Our Management Team
Mr Zhuang Liqun
Liqun started his industry career in HP from 1992 and research career in A*STAR from 1998. Over the past 20 years, he participated in and led many projects in design and development of system software, large database applications and integrated IT infrastructure for large scale manufacturing systems and services. He has also participated in myriad research projects which related with manufacturing control and monitoring systems based on networked control optimization. In 2003, he won the IES (The Institution of Engineers, Singapore) Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award for the project, “A Mission-Critical Self-Recoverable Cargo Operation Control System”.
Ms Zhang Danhong
Danhong involved in industry automation related projects since early 1990’s. Her expertise mainly in real-time information and control system, SCADA system for remote monitoring and industry communication applications. She has led and contributed to many industry projects such as monitoring and control of large scale material handling system, factory automation system, shop floor information integration and production track and trace systems. She also has rich research experience on machine fault diagnosis algorithm, machine energy consumption analysis and wireless sensor network etc. In 2003, she won the IES (The Institution of Engineers, Singapore) Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award for the project, “A Mission-Critical Self-Recoverable Cargo Operation Control System”.
